Wasada international festival 2007!!
Do you know that there are 2000 international students at Waseda!
Many students think “I want to get to know international friends” or “I want to Japanese friends because I got a chance to study abroad in Japan.
But actually, you don’t have many chances to interact with international students and Japanese students.
But now you have your chance!! It is “Waseda international festival!
The motto of WIF is “international students and Japanese students becoming one” We really want to create a great moment beyond international boundary. We had WIF2006 year June 12, 13 at Ono Azusa auditorium. It was a great success.
.
We think, by preparing festival together, we can understand each other better beyond individual back ground. Waseda international festival will be the place of making real friends!
What has been decided so far:
◆ Both international students and Japanese students would become performance leaders, and teach the performance content to other international and Japanese students. They will create performances together!
◆ On the day of the festival, both international students and Japanese students will open and staff booths, which would serve as a place where WIF members can communicate with guests.
◆ Date: Thursday, 14th & Friday, 15th, June, 2007.
◆ Place: Waseda University Ono Azusa Memorial Auditorium
and that’s it….
So right now, we are recruiting “Nakama” to make a “Matsuri” together. For example, we need people to work out ideas and proposals together, people to take active parts as staff the day of the festival, people who would be leaders of performance or booths, and so on. We will hold a meeting to explain all this, so if you are interested in WIF, feel free to come!
※ We will hold an orientation!!
◆ Date & Time: 6:30 p.m. ~ 7:30 p.m., Friday, 19th, January, 2007
◆ Place: Waseda University 22nd Building, 202 room
The “Matsuri” itself will pass by quickly, but the “people” of that “Matsuri” will still remain. People you will meet in the process of making “Waseda International Festival” will live in your heart forever. Let’s make a red hot “Matsuri” together!!!!!!!
